This pleasing recital from a recently rediscovered collection in Scotland concentrates on music of French extraction, which makes up about half of the book. The CD booklet is scholarly, as is the way with lutenists, providing all the information you could want, and in several languages. The notes appear to be by Martin Eastwell & John Taylor.
