These are undoubtedly interesting releases of lesser known music of the mid-17C, piercingly beautiful, superbly performed and recorded, with full texts and translations.

With the second CD booklet there are problems (to be rectified on future copies of the CD). This sound recording was made 8-12 July 2010, followed by a video filmed 13th/14th July, yet to be released. Having been alerted to a sample of the video on line (atmospheric stills from it pictured on the CD cover above) I have no hesitation in advising readers to await the latter, which was imaginatively filmed & promises to be a great success, and which will be reviewed in due course.
