A lovely collection of short pieces, Baroque to contemporary, cleverly arranged or transcribed for the accordion.

A doyen of the accordion, Mie Miki (b.1956) will persuade any remaining doubters that the concert accordion is as expressive as any other instrument. This sequence will leave you convinced too that she loves music of many types.

Good recording and presentation. The delightful cover image illustrates many of the pieces played, but is not credited. There are photos of Mie Miki from her first public appearance aged 5 through to 2010. See her in recital on YouTube.
